Kecelakaan Maut di Manyar Surabaya kembali terjadi dan satu korban tewas

SURABAYA - Peristiwa kecelakaan maut kembali terjadi di jalan Raya Manyar Kertoarjo Surabaya. Setelah lamborghini menabrak penjual STMJ, dinihari tadi, Selasa (22/12/2015) sebuah mobil jenis Daihatsu Terios menabrak satpam dan traffic light perempatan Manyar Kertoarjo.
Mobil berplat nomor B 1133 KOM ini hanya ringsek di body depan. Sementara pengemudi mobil yang diketahui bernama Firman Wijaya, (35)  warga Kaliwaron Gang 1 Surabaya, tidak mengalami luka dan langsung diamankan di Unit Laka Polrestabes Surabaya. Namun akibat kecelakaan ini, seorang satpam yang diketahui bernama Dodok Supriyatdo (43) warga jalan Manyar Sabrangan Gang 2 Surabaya, tewas dengan luka parah di bagian kepala.
Dari informasi yang didapat, kecelakaan ini berawal saat Daihatsu Terios yang melaju kencang dari arah Dharmahusada menuju jalan Kertajaya. Diduga saat itu Firman Wijaya melaju dengan kecepatan tinggi sekisar 80 kilometer per jam. Menjelang perempatan Manyar Kertoarjo, Firman tiba-tiba mengantuk dan mobil langsung menabrak korban Dodok Supriyatdo yang baru saja kencing di tepi jalan.
Tabrakan ini membuat tubuh satpam perumahan Kertajaya Indah Blok F Surabaya, terpental hingga 400 meter dan tewas saat dibawa ke RSU dr Soetomo. Usai menabrak korban, terios terus melaju dan baru berhenti sekitar 17 meter usai menabrak traffic light, hingga mengakibatkan TL ambruk.
Usai kejadian, petugas Unit Laka Satlantas Polrestabes Surabaya langsung melakukan olah TKP. Hasilnya, polisi mendapati fakta terios melaju kencang serta SIM Firman Wijaya, sang pengemudi terios ini sudah mati sejak Maret 2015. Kini mobil dan pengemudi langsung diamankan di Unit Laka Polrestabes Surabaya guna dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.

Salju Abadi Carstenz Pyramide Dipuncak Papua

Equityworld Futures : Nama Cartensz diambil dari penemunya yaitu seorang pelaut asal Belanda, John Carstensz yang menyaksikan adanya puncak gunung yang tertutup oleh Es di negara ekuator. Tidak ada yang percaya dengan peenyataan nya tersebut. John Carstensz adalah orang eropa pertama yang menyaksikan puncak Cartesz dengan mata kepalanya sendiri.

Orang Indonesia menyebutnya dengan Puncak Jaya, walaupun sebenarnya Puncak Jaya bukan merupakan puncak tertinggi dari Carstensz itu sendiri. Puncak jaya adalah salah satu puncak yang dianggap tertinggi yang ada di pegunungan Jaya Wijaya.

 

Ada beberpa perbedaan pendapat mengenai ketinggian puncak Carstensz Pyramid ini. Ada yang menyatakan bahwa ketinggiannya adalah 4884 m (16023 feet, bebrapa sumber menyebutnya dengan 16013 feet ), ada pula yang meyatakan bahwa ketinggiannya adalah 5030 meters (16503 ft). Australian navigational air maps menyatakan bahwa ketinggiannya adalah 16503 feet (5030 meters). Entah yang mana yang benar, namun yang pasti adalah bahwa puncak Carstensz Pyramid ini merupakan puncak tertinggi di Indonesia, bahkan di Australia dan Oceania.

Puncak Jaya (Carstensz Pyramid, 4884 m, 16023 ft), Puncak Mandala (4640m, 15223 ft), dan Puncak Trikora (4730m, 15518 ft), adalah tiga puncak utama yang terkenal dia pegunungan papua barat. Carstensz Pyramid dalah puncak yang tertinggi, ketiga puncak tersebut terletak di bagian barat dari pegunungan Jayawijaya.

Dari ketiga puncak diatas, hanya Carstensz Pyramid yang selalu diselimuti salju. Lalu darimanakah datangnya salju yang ada da puncak Carstensz ini, yang notabene berada di Indonesia, yang merupakan Negara ekuator? Hal ini memang suatu keadaan yang tidak biasa. Salah satu alasan logis nya adalah adanya badai salju tropis yang kadang akan membawa salju pada suatu tempat diatas ketinggia 4000 m. nah, Puncak Jaya ini (4884 m) adalah salah satu persinggahan salju yang dibawa oleh badai tersebut. La kok bisa ada badai salju di daerah tropis? Wah….kalo itu mah, Tanya aaja ndiri ama ilmuwan atau ahli lingkungan yang berkompeten pada bidangnya. Hehehe…..

Ada 3 rute utama untuk mencapai puncak Caratensz ini. Yang pertama biasa disebut dengan rute Harrer (Harrer’s Route). Rute ini merupakan rute yang paling mudah untuk dilewati. Meskipun mudah, tidak berarti segalanya akan mudah dalam menaklukkan puncak Jaya ini.

Harrer’s route menempuh perjalanan untuk naik dan turun sekitar 12 sampai 15 jam. Tingkat klesulitannya berkisar antara 3-4 standar UIIA. Kesulitan yang ada dalam menempuh rute ini adalah ketika berada di bawah puncak jaya. Kemiringan tebing yang curam, sampai dengan 10-15 derajat setinggi kira-kira 80 meter, membutuhkan ekstra kehati-hatian. Standar UIIA menytakan bahwa kesulitan dalam hal ini adalah 5-5+. Pengalaman dannpengetahuan yang cukup dalam hal climbing merupakan bekal utama. Bebatuannya cukup kuat dan tidak mudah longsor/lepas. Kesulitan yang akan dihadapi akan lebih besar lagi ketika mencapai bebatuan yang bergerigi dengan overhang wall yang berkisar 10 meter, dengan tingkat kesulitan 6-7+ satandar UIIA. Bagi pendaki pemula hal ini bisa diatasi dengan menggunakan Jumar sebagai alat bantu nya.

Rute yang kedua adalah East Ridge. Rute ini merupakan pertengahan antara rute Harrer dan rute yang paling sulit. Jalan yang ditempuh akan lebih jauh dan tentunya juga akan lebih lama.

Rute yang ketiga adalah American Direct. Rute ini merupakan rute yang akan menempuh perjalanan langsung ke puncak. Rute ini memerlukan skill, pengalaman, dan juga pengetahuan yang memadai tentang Climbing. Yang terburuk dari rute ini adalah, tingkat kesulitan yang semakin tinggi ketika mendekati puncak, yaitu tebing yang curam, dinding dari puncak Cartensz.
